Red Sox acquire Brendan Donnelly

The Red Sox made a trade with the Angels today in an effort to bolster their weak bullpen. The Red Sox acquired the services of Brendan Donnelly in exchange for minor leaguer Phil Seibel. Seibel is 28-year old lefty who has had a history of injuries but pitched well in the minors last season.

It appears like this is a good move, but the Red Sox front office still has some work to do on the bullpen. A closer is still needed and I'm sure they will be exploring their options until they find an adequate solution.
